Location & Design
The center will be built on 41 acres centrally located in northern Golden Gate Estates at the
corner of Golden Gate and Wilson boulevards – two primary roadways in the area.
The center will have an “Old Florida” design and will consist of 190,000 square feet of retail and office single-story buildings, including a major grocery store anchor. The first store to open will be a major grocery store of at least 27,000 square feet.
Unlike a typical urban shopping center, approximately 50 percent of the center’s site will be open space and extensive green buffering will shield it from neighbors.
It will provide an area large enough for year-round community activities.
The site is central to residents of northern Golden Gate Estates and is located near one of the most established intersections within the area. This
central location makes the site ideally situated to provide convenient shopping and service opportunities.
